Hi all together,

spring also arrived in Bayreuth and I took some pictures, which I want to share with you

Bufo bufo - Eggs - Found today in a pond not far away of my new flat

Tadpoles - Not possible to tell the species as no spawn nor adults were visible. If you look close you see the gills which are outside!
I have also uploaded a video on my homepage which shows the action the bring in the pond!

Even wat uitleg voor degene die niet bekend is met de verschillende vormen van dril.

Kamil herkent dat het paddendril is van de bruine pad (Bufo bufo) omdat de eitjes in een snoer zijn gelegd. Je ziet dat de eitjes netjes in 2 rijtjes naast elkaar liggen, in deze streken is dat karakteristiek voor Bufo bufo.

De kikkervisjes hebben uitwendige kieuwen. Padden en kikkers verschillen hierin met salamanders. Salamanders houden tot de metamorfose uitwendige kieuwen. Kikkervisjes hebben in eerste instantie uitwendige kieuwen zoals op de foto. Na verloop van tijd krimpen deze kieuwen en krijgt het kikkervisje inwendige kieuwen. ze zijn er dus nog wel, maar je ziet ze niet!

I told other members how you can see that the eggstrings are Bufo Bufo, and I told some general info about external and internal gills. Nothing you don't know yet I think, but sorry, I will type it in English too next time
