Hi all together,
as I was in Prague for Sylvester this year I have seen some really strange P. waltl, as you can see on the following pictures:
the first one has only one rear leg - the other one never existed
(http://kamil.amphibien-net.de/tiere/p_waltl_beilos1.jpg)
the second one only has his front legs
(http://kamil.amphibien-net.de/tiere/p_waltl_beilos2.jpg)
and the third one has all legs but is black:

I hope you liked that pictures :-)
Best Greetings,
Kamil

What a strange pictures of Pleurodeles walt, never saw this kind of pleurodeles walt.
And the black one is also a nice picture, but its a strange color for this specie.
Hi Jeffrey,
yes I have been very fascinated of them. The "Sirenas" were really strange but still juveniles but the big black óne was really a cool thing! I loved to watch at him.
Best Greetings,
Kamil
Very nice!
Wow, nuclear accident? radiation problem? oil victim? ;)
Just kidding, interesting photographs Kamil. Will they be breeding these forms?
Hi Coen,
I have no clue :-( I hope that at least the "Sirenas" will be bred some day as I find them very good looking ::) - and as Pleurodeles is in water all time it should not matter to the animals.
Best Greetings,
Kamil
